PhD in Hispanic Philology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Academic and Researcher at the University of Playa Ancha, Valparaiso. He has developed curatorial projects on contemporary Chilean art and publications in national and international magazines on Chilean art. Author of the books of essay on the contemporary engraving The line of the Memory (1995); Displacement of Memory (1996). And an essay on local art Book of works. The habitability of art (2000). He is currently director of the publishing label Puntángeles of the University of Playa Ancha, Valparaiso. And he is the Coordinator of CIDACH (Center for Research and Documentation of Chilean Visual Arts) of the School of Art of the University of Playa Ancha.
