Alexander Lowen

Alexander Lowen (1910 - 2008). Doctorate in Law in 1936, was introduced in psychotherapy through a course on character analysis with Dr. Wilhelm Reich, whom he trained until 1945. Two years later he left with his family to Geneva where he studied medicine. Back in the United States developed in collaboration with John Pierrakos his own mind-body therapy: the BA.

A founding member of International Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis, created to ensure the training of psychotherapists in this area.
