Ana Vásquez-Bronfman

Was born in Chile, where she was exiled in 1974. She is a psychologist, currently living in Paris and working at the National Center for Scientific Research, where she focused mainly on the study of socialization processes in schools and educational institutions. Along with Isabel Martínez has published La socialización en la escuela. An ethnographic perspective. In 1998, after his retirement, he was awarded the honorary researcher degree and directed his work towards the study of sexuality in the elderly. Parallel to this, he has also written the novels Los Bufalos, Los Hierarchs and Huesera, Abel Rodríguez and his brothers, My Friend Chantal, The Worlds of Circe (Prize of the National Book Council of Chile), Invisible Cages and Sebasto's Angels, Translated into languages such as German, French and Dutch.
