Anthony Garner (ANT), after studying graphic design at the Berkshire College of Art in Reading, worked as a copywriter at an advertising agency in London. In 1993 he settled in Barcelona, where he began to collaborate as a cartoonist in the ECO newspaper, and immediately continued in other press, editorial, advertising, television and theater media such as El País, Ara, El Punt Avui, El Diari de la Pau, TV3, Punch, Private Eye, The New Statesman, The New York Observer, IP (Industrias Pesqueras), Ecoticias, etc. He has illustrated several books (adults and children) for very different subjects. His cartoons and cartoons have been selected for numerous exhibitions inside and outside of Spain. He currently draws the daily cartoon for El Periódico and also other weekly ones for El Jueves. He is a partner at Cartooning For Peace and The Cartoon Movement, and the UK representative on United Sketches for Freedom. Instagram: #anthonyantgarner
