Benjamín Barajas (Michoacán, 1965). He studied Literature in the uam. He is a Doctor of Letters by the Unam. He is the author of more than thirty articles published in newspapers and magazines. Directs the Ritmo magazine. Imagination and criticism - which currently has 19 issues-, and the collection of Classic books for all, where the Cantares edition has been prepared, which brings together the poem "Spiritual Canticle of Saint John of the Cross" and the translation in the eighth rhyme made by Fray Luis de León from the Song of Songs. He is currently part of the Editorial Board of the Eutopía del CCH magazine. In works of creation (poetry yensayo), is the author of the following titles: Divagando en la voz (1987), Tadrio (1992), Starts the air (1996), Light of memory (1998), grace inmóvil (2002) , Adverse look (2002), Escafandra (2004), Poems of August (2008), Micro-essays (2004), Passion encerrada (2007), The stubborn stubbornness (2009) and Rivers in force (2010). He also prepared the edition of the complete poetry of Dolores Castro for the Fondo de Cultura Económica: Broken Wind: poetry reunited (2010).
