David Solar Cubillas

David Solar Cubillas (Noja, Cantabria, 1943), founder and director from 1998 to 2010 of La Aventura de la Historia and regular contributor to the newspaper El Mundo, was editor of Diario Madrid (1969-1971), screenwriter of the TVE program Weekly Report (1973-1988), head of International of the weekly Mundo (1974-1976), founder and director of History 16 (1976-1998), commentator of historical topics on the program Today of Cadena SER (1991-2002) and in The Compass , Zero Wave (2002-2003).

Professor of International Relations at the Master's Degree in Journalism in El Mundo, he has directed numerous historical collections, including the Historical Review of the Twentieth Century: World War II, in 15 volumes. A regular lecturer, he is the author of hundreds of articles on international politics and history, and from the books The Conflict of the Middle East, The Palestinians Attack, The Labyrinth of Palestine, Mercilessly, Without Hope. Palestinians and Israelis, the tragedy that continues, The Fall of Santander, August 1937, The Last Day of Adolf Hitler, The Fall of the Gods, A World in Ruins and 1939, the last four successfully edited by The Sphere of Books.
