Dorion Sagan

Dorion Sagan (Winsconsin, 1959) is an American science writer and author of important works on culture, evolution, and history and philosophy of science. He is the son of the famous astronomer Carl Sagan and biologist Lynn Margulis, considered one of the leading figures in biological evolution. Among his most important works include The Thermodynamics of Life, co-authored with Eric D. Schneider, The Sciences of Avatar: from Anthropology to Xenology and Death and Sex, with which he won the first place in the category of no fiction in the 2010 edition of the New York Book Show.
