Epicteto

 Epicteto

Epictetus (Greek: Επίκτητος) (Hierapolis, 55 - Nicopolis, 135) was a Greek philosopher of the Stoic school, who lived most of his life as a slave in Rome. To our knowledge, left no written work, but his teachings retain a Enchiridion (Ἐγχειρίδιον) or 'Manual' and in a few speeches (Διατριβαί) published by his pupil Arrian.
