Jesús Peláez (Priego de Córdoba, 1947) is Professor of Greek Philology at the University of Córdoba, specializing in New Testament and Greek Lexicography. He is the founder and editor of Ediciones El Almendro and director of the international journal New Philology. He is currently preparing the project to edit the first Greek-Spanish Dictionary of the New Testament, of which the first six fascicles have already been published, a task he carries out with the Semantic Analysis Group of the University of Córdoba (GASCO).
