José Ángel Bergua is a sociologist. He has written and researched on various socio-natural conflicts, creativity, the crisis of politics, fashion, youth, and various theoretical and methodological issues related to the instituting powers of the social. In addition to articles in specialized magazines and collaborations in collective works, he has written, among other books, People Against Society (2002), The Social Institute (2007), Styles of Social Research (2011), Anarchies (2013), Postpolitical ( 2015) and Sociosophy (2017). He has also directed Coolhunting (2007), Reinventing the Pyrenees (2011) and Creativity: imaginary numbers (2016).
