JOSÉ LUIS CORRAL (03-11-2019 / 03-11-2019), is a professor of Medieval History and director of the History Workshop at the University of Zaragoza. It is one of the most important European authors of historical novel, thanks to novels such as The Golden Hall (1996), The Bronze Amulet (1998), The Winter of the Crown (1999), El Cid (2000), Trafalgar (2001) , Numancia (2003), The number of God (2004), Independence! (2005), The Knight of the Temple (2006), The King Felon (2009) and Love and Death (2010) all published in the collection Historical Narratives of Edhasa, with numerous editions and translated into several languages. He was an advisor to Ridley Scott in the movie 1492. The conquest of Paradise and in 1992 he won the silver medal at the XXXIV International Video and Television Festival of New York for the Historia de Aragón series. He is the author of an extensive historiographical work, in which the books La torre y el caballero stand out. The decline of the feudal (2002), Universal History of the death penalty (2005), History Workshop. The office that we love (2006), Brief history of the Temple Order (2006), A History of Spain (2008) and Historia recoda de Aragón (2010). In recent times he has written two mystery novels Fulcanelli (2008) and Fatima (2009), both published on the Marlow label of Edhasa.
