Maricela Guerrero

Maricela Guerrero (Mexico City, 1977) has published From the branches a macaw (Bonobos / CONACULTA, 2006), They are called nebulae (FETA, 2010), Kilimanjaro (Mano Santa, 2011) and Peceras (Horse's Edge, 2013). Her work has been included in Side Effects (Madrid: Anaya, 2004), Divino tesoro (Mexico: Casa Vecina, 2008) and Four recent poets from Mexico (Buenos Aires: Black & Vermelho, 2011). In 1998 and 2000, she obtained first prize in the "After the Discourse" Contest (within the Extraordinary Chair of Sor Juana Inés dela Cruz). In 2008 and 2010 she obtained the FONCA Young Creators scholarship.
