Mary Evelyn Tucker

Mary Evelyn Tucker is a professor at Yale University. She has a PhD from Columbia University with a thesis on Japanese Confucianism, and since 1997 she is a researcher at the Reischauer Institute of Japanese Studies at Harvard. Together with her husband, John Grim led a series of lectures on Religion and Ecology at the Harvard Center for Global Religions Studies (1995-1998), which culminated in the founding of the Forum on Religion and Ecology at Yale, This new interdisciplinary field through numerous conferences, editions and publications.
