Pauline Butcher - (London, 1947) was 21 years old when Zappa proposed that she become his secretary. For four years he lived in California, immersed in the vortex of Zappa and his inner circle. In 1972 he returned to London, at that time one of the mechs of pop, where he started working as a freelance music journalist. Later, she felt hopelessly impelled to tell her story about Frank Zappa and her life in the United States.
