Publius Naso Ovid (Publius Ovidius Naso (Sulmona, March 20, 43 BC -.. Tomis, now Constanta, 17 AD) was a Roman poet famous primarily for his work Art of Love and Metamorphoses, work the latter in verse in which mythological tales collected chiefly from the Greek world and adopted by the Latin culture of his time.
