Wolfgang Goebel

Wolfgang Goebel (Germany, 1932), son of a pastor of the Christian Community in Stuttgart. They attended the Waldorf Free School, which was banned during the Nazi regime and reopened its doors after the Second World War. After high school he studied medicine in Freiburg and Marburg Innsbruck. Then trained as a pediatrician at the Pediatric Clinic of Tübingen University and worked as a physician assistant in the Ita-Wegman-Klinik in Arlesheim, Switzerland. He was one of the drivers Herdecke Community Hospital, anthroposophical orientation, and since its opening in 1960 to 1995 practiced his profession in this hospital as one of the chief pediatrician.
