Journal of New York is definitely a declaration of love to the adoptive city where Peter Kuper lived since 1977; in this newspaper he conducted a tour through the history of this city from the crazy 80s and his adventures in the neighborhood of Brooklyn to the shock which represented the 11-S for its inhabitants. Overflowing work of genius, which allows graphics appreciate the countless records Kuper, which the author himself has described as his best work. Peter Kuper's work has been published in most US magazines, including MAD magazine, where he has drawn the strip "Spy vs. Spy "since 1997. He has illustrated more than twenty books, including Alice in Wonderland, Through the Looking-Glass and Teo and Blue Note (published by Sixth Floor). He lived for two years in Oaxaca, Mexico, reflecting his work from this period in the book Journal of Oaxaca.
