In the summer of 1944, on its way to Berlin, the Red Army arrived at the site that had occupied the Treblinka Extermination Camp, where some 800,000 Jews were killed. The Nazi leaders of the camp had razed him in order to eliminate all vestiges. However, there are many testimonies of what happened there and little by little the evidence confirms it. Vasili Grossman, who during the war has traveled with the Soviet troops to describe in his chronicles what happens in the front, will be in charge of reconstructing the story of what happened in Treblinka.
