Chaos occurs throughout this work; however, it is in the "El amanuense" that misfortune is seen: a group of Spanish copyists from the Middle Ages is threatened by a machine that intends to replace their scribe labors; several stories later, it will all be drugs, androids, space centers and robots: the society of the future collapses.
