This book presents words of many saints and sages, as well as scriptures, of all traditions, showing the similar vision that their words reveal.

In the sapiential traditions of humanity, the sage is considered to be the one who knows from his own experience the ultimate reality of the universe and life, the "heart" of the world. Wise is that person who, transcending his little ego, has managed to become aware of that unity, of the Absolute that is its source and its base, becoming one with it. Even if their behavior does not attract attention, the wise and holy do not behave like the rest of us: they lack all selfishness, attachment, or pride. The saint is a simple person and is at peace: pacified. The clearest way we have to access this Last Reality, to begin to glimpse its secrets, is through the saints and their words.
