The book is organized into eight chapters. The first includes a reflection on the units of study of Semantics and the basic operation of composition of meaning, followed by another dedicated to lexical units and the type of meaning and information that they can encode. The third deals with the notion of reference and others related to it, on which the Semantics of Conditions of Truth is based. In the chapters that follow, the notions of preaching, quantification, modification, and intentionality are studied in some detail; They fundamentally discuss data from Spanish to justify the hypotheses and theoretical concepts that are presented. In the last one, designed for postgraduate students, problems of syntax-semantic interface and grammar-cognition interface are raised, whose main objective is to relate and reflect on some concepts and notions introduced in the preceding chapters.
