Martin Luther King's writings were always clear and direct judgments on what injustice meant, to humanity, as well as the ways in which it can be transformed into justice. With one precise word and an excited tone, his speeches were able to materialize the state of inhumanity in which the world lived and the opportunity to build a better one. In his "Letter from Birmingham Jail" (1963) he argued that "An injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere," which meant that, with the defense of civil rights for blacks, King extended his fight to other groups, people and people.
