As a publishing house, Portaculturas was born with the Porta narrativas collection, focused on the publication of foreign literature.
Its catalogue was expanded with the creation of collections designed for children and adults, with an identity marked by the search to enhance as much as possible the minimum resources that constitute the materiality of a book: paper and ink. That is our quest: to use the available resources in the most effective way, thinking of our books as non-standardized objects where design and content are a unit. Thus, form and substance support each other to give readers a different reading experience.
