Guillermo Aguirre

He dropped out of school at the age of fourteen and dedicated himself to selling second-hand objects, distributing propaganda and setting up drinks. In 2002 he moved to Madrid, where he resumed his training. Winner of the XV Lengua de Trapo Award for a Novel with Electronics for Clara (2010), he has also published the novels Leonardo (Lengua de Trapo, 2013) and El cielo que nos tienes promissido (Demipage, 2016). He has been head of studies at the Hotel Kafka School of Narrative Techniques, where he is still a professor. A Certain Crab is his fourth novel.
