Laia de Ahumada (Barcelona, 1957) is a doctor in Catalan philology and writer. She is specialized in feminine writing of the modern era, specifically in the epistolary-subject on which she made her doctoral thesis-, and lately she has focused her studies on spiritual writing. He collaborates in the project «Topography of Feminine Spirituality» of the University of Barcelona, and in the database «Manuscrits Catalans de l'Edat Moderna» (MCEM) of the Institut d'Estudis Catalans. She is married and mother of two children. She is co-founder and coordinator of the Obert Heura Center for People Without a Roof. Vitally interreligious, he focuses his study and his writing on this subject. He is a member of the advisory board of the collection Sagrats i Clàssics de Fragmenta. She is the author of the books A cau d'orella.
