Christiane Desroches Noblecourt (Paris, 1913 - Sézanne, June 23, 2011) was a French Egyptologist. Author of numerous works on art and history of Ancient Egypt, she contributed to the salvation of the Nubian temples from the flood caused by the construction of the Aswan Dam in 1960, declared a World Heritage Site in 1979.
