Eugen Coşeriu or Eugeniu Coşeriu [eudʒen koʃerʲu], better known by the Spanish form of his name, Eugenio Coseriu (27 July 1921 in Mihaileni, Romania, now Moldavia - September 7, 2002 in Tübingen, Germany) was a specialized linguist in Romance philology. It is one of the greatest figures of 20th century philology
