Gerardo Sifuentes. He was born in Tampico. At 16 he discovered science fiction and at 21 he co-edited a cyberpunk fanzine with his friends at the Technological Institute of Puebla. He is a science journalist and editor, a CF author, and a researcher on everything on the frontier of fantasy genres and pop culture. He was the editorial director of Muy Interesante México magazine. He teaches a class of CF prototype scenarios at the postgraduate level and is a communication teacher at UNAM. In his latest popular book, Ghostware, he explores the extraordinary side of science and technology.
