Doctor in Pharmacy and specialist in Applied Hydrogeology, he is a senior researcher at the Geological and Mining Institute of Spain (IGME). Author of more than 150 scientific publications, he distributes his activity between teaching and research on soil and groundwater contamination and the effects of climate change on the waters of the Antarctic Peninsula.
