Simon Critchley

Holds the Hans Jonas Professor of Philosophy at the New School for Social Research in New York, teaches philosophy at the University of Tilburg (Netherlands) and is a regular contributor to The New York Times. After his first works devoted to the ethical-political horizon of deconstruction, has explored the many faces of death and humor, to finally ask for news about the tragedy in the modern world. In The Faith of the Faithless. Experiments in Political Theology (2012) addresses the return of religion in the secular age.
