The aphorisms, brief paragraphs or quotations-Amara's characteristic essayistic and fragmentary prose-revolve around the conception of art in everyday life and within certain containers that, like a box, delimit the scope of the same. Common words are put into question in the language of contemporary art, such as curatorship or museography.
Luigi Amara (Mexico D.F., 1971) is a writer, walker and editor. Between his books they emphasize: The hunter of cracks (1998), On foot (2010), The school of the boredom (2012) and Exhausted history of the wig (2014). Nu) n (ca, his most recent book (2015), was awarded the Manuel Acuña International Poetry Prize in Spanish Language, living in Mexico, D.F., with his wife and son, and is part of the Tumbona Ediciones cooperative.
