Gerardo Pulido is an artist (1975, Santiago de Chile). He has exhibited his work in Bogota, Boston, Buenos Aires, London, New York, Melbourne, Washington D.C. and other cities. He completed postgraduate studies in artistic education (DEA, 2005) at the University of Seville, Spain. He has a degree in art from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (2002 and 1999, respectively). He is a professor at the School of Art of the latter institution (UC) and since 2009 is co-founder and member of BLOC Workshop (Chile). He has received several awards, including the "best teacher" award in different universities (2012, 2011 and 2008, Chile), the AMA Grant (AMA Foundation, Chile, 2008) and the MAE Grant (AECID, Spain, 2005 -2003). He co-founded the magazine Índice, an art and critic document and integrated its editorial committee (2001-1997, Chile). Sporadically, it publishes interviews or reviews on the work of different artists.
