The present book provides an overview of the current research on the miracles of Jesus, with a reflection that addresses the different biblical, philosophical, scientific, theological and spiritual aspects involved. The miracle, in the logic of the Gospels, refers to an event that, contemplated in the light of faith, becomes a sign of the loving presence of God for a suffering or needy human being. Thus, the miracles of Jesus can not be understood as a gratuitous demonstration of strength, but as an invitation to let oneself be seized by a greater love that brings salvation and health to one's life. However, the concept of "miracle" entails doubts and ambiguities: its meaning is linked to the understanding of the world at a certain time and place, and, consequently, this has caused its polysemy to have changed over the years. the centuries to this day.
