José Muñoz Santonja, has been a high school teacher for 35 years. He uses very diverse materials in his classes, not only magic, but also digital, audiovisual or manipulative resources such as origami. Apart from the book "Ernesto, El Matemago", he has written a couple of historical books about Leibniz and Newton. He has co-authored textbooks of mathematics and digital materials for teaching. Also, José, has done mathematical theater winning some national prize. Participates in the ESTALMAT Andalucía project aimed at students with special talents for mathematics. He is currently co-director of the UNO math didactics magazine. In the last years he dedicates a great part of his time to the teaching of adults in the blended modality.
