Laia de Ahumada (Barcelona, ​​1957) is a doctor in Catalan philology and writer. She is specialized in feminine writing of the modern era, specifically in the epistolary-subject on which she made her doctoral thesis-, and lately she has focused her studies on spiritual writing. He collaborates in the project «Topography of Feminine Spirituality» of the University of Barcelona, ​​and in the database «Manuscrits Catalans de l'Edat Moderna» (MCEM) of the Institut d'Estudis Catalans. She is married and mother of two children. She is co-founder and coordinator of the Obert Heura Center for People Without a Roof. Vitally interreligious, he focuses his study and his writing on this subject. He is a member of the advisory board of the collection Sagrats i Clàssics de Fragmenta. She is the author of the books A cau d'orella.
