This book offers the edition of two small works by Adorno: in the first, Composition for Cinema, he shares the authorship with H. Eisler and in it both present their experiences and reflections in the field of film music, after several years of share experiences together in Hollywood in direct contact with the film industry. In the second, The Faithful Correpetitor, Adorno, after his presentation of the conceptual implications of the new music, analyzes a series of compositions linked to cinema, as well as the use of music on the radio.
