Adolfo Chaparro Amaya
He is a philosopher from the National University of Colombia and a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Paris VIII. He is a tenured professor at the School of Human Sciences of the Universidad del Rosario, in Bogotá, where he works as director of the Master's Program in Philosophy.
From the 1990s, inspired mainly by contemporary French philosophy, he began a systematic investigation into the formations of knowledge and social machines that characterize Latin American countries from the Conquest.
Currently, her research areas are poststructuralist philosophy, Amerindian / Latin American thought and aesthetics. It is part of the CLACSO Political Philosophy group and the inter-institutional group of Aesthetics and politics.
