Javier López Alós (Alicante, 1976). Phd. in Philosophy. He is the author of numerous publications on the history of ideas in the period 1750-1850, among which his book Between the throne and the bench stands out. Spanish reactionary thinking against the liberal Revolution (1808-1823). To this line of work he has added research on politics, culture and subjectivity in the crisis of contemporary Spain. Member of the team of the Saavedra Fajardo Library of Hispanic Political Thought (Complutense University of Madrid). He worked at the University of Leeds (United Kingdom) as a visiting researcher and professor between 2012 and 2016, the year he returned to Dénia to devote himself to writing.
