He was born in France in 1938 and changed his name to Jean-Éric Green after being adopted by the American writer Julien Green, with whom he lived until his death in 1998. Jourdan was expelled from ten schools for his insolence and scandalous sexuality. He has written more than a dozen novels, translated into various languages, as well as short stories and plays, some of which have not yet been published. His most successful books include "Le garçon de joie", "Saccage", "L’Amour brut" and "Forever". Editorial Egales published his excellent novel "The Fallen Angels" in 2007. Éric Jourdan currently lives in Paris, in the same apartment where Stendhal wrote his famous novel "Red and Black".
