Leon Plascencia (born 1968) is a poet, narrator and editor. He runs phyllodecaballos editors. He was director of the literary magazine Parque nandino. He has been a FONCA fellow in two periods, and has enjoyed artistic residences granted by the Colombian Ministry of Culture (2004) and the Korean Literature Translation Institute (2007). He has won, among others, the Ibero-American Poetry Awards Jaime Sabines for published work 2010, the National Cuento Agustín Yáñez 2008, the National Literature Gilberto Owen 2005 and the Alvaro Mutis (Mexico-Colombia) 1996. His books include Swarms (1998), The Tree of the Shore (Canada-Mexico, 2003), Notes by a City Anatomist (2006), Zoom (Mexico 2006, Dominican Republic 2010), Seoul is a White Corner (2009) and Treaty on Infidelity (2010). He is a member of the National System of Art Creators.
