Ethel Krauze. She was born in Mexico City, on June 14, 1954. Poet, essayist, narrator and playwright. She lives in Cuernavaca, Morelos. She studied Hispanic Language and Literatures and a Master's Degree in Mexican Letters at the FFyL of UNAM. She has been a professor at the CCC, the SOGEM and a full-time teacher at the Academy of Literary Creation of the University of Mexico City; she coordinator of literary workshops at INBA, ISSSTE, Coneculta and CCH-Sur; host and scriptwriter of various radio programs and the television programs "De Cara al Futuro" on C-11 and "Para Gente Grande", on Televisa. INBA/FONAPAS fellow, 1978. Member of the SNCA since 2000. Contributor to Dialogues, El Día, El Sol de México, El Universal, Excelsior, La Semana de Bellas Artes, Plural, Proceso, Puro Cuento, Tri Quaterly and Unomásuno.
