He was born in Santiago de Chile. She is a journalist by profession, renowned publisher of children's books and founder of Ekare Editions. He has published numerous adaptations of stories and verses from the Creole, indigenous and European tradition, some of which have been translated into other languages. Author of several books, including: The Buzzing Mosquito, Diego and the Magic Lemons, Diego and the Pirate Ship and Diego and the Great Flying Kite.
