She was born in the United States, but has lived in Argentina for decades. As a writer, translator and editor, her writings have been published in the UK, South Africa, Spain and Argentina. She is also an Ashtanga Yoga practitioner and instructor and teaches regular philosophy classes on contemplative practices. She is a student of Richard Freeman and Mary Taylor, and studies Tibetan Buddhism with Dr. Jules Levinson and Dr. Robert Thurman. In 2016, she founded the Ananta Collection at El hilo de Ariadna publishing house, uniting her literary career with her studies on contemplative traditions.
