PhD in Greek Philology from the Complutense University of Madrid, he has been a research professor at the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC), in whose Institute of Philology he worked for years writing the Greek Spanish Dictionary; Subsequently, he was vice president of the organization and held other positions in the public management of R&D.
