Alberto Martín has worked as a general surgeon in Spain and Canada and currently resides in Spain. He studied philosophy at the University of Toronto, a discipline that has always interested him since he was very young when he read Plato. Disillusioned with modern philosophy and with the state of culture in general, he has sought what can lead to a synthesis or harmony between the different aspects of it, finding inspiration in the sacred texts of the East (Hinduism and Buddhism), as well as in the best Western philosophical-religious thought. In this context, the philosophy or perennial wisdom and the sacred art of all ci- vilizations occupy a central place in his intellectual and vital trajectory. He has written articles in the area of intersection between medicine, humanism and philosophy. His latest book: Duality & non Duality.
