A book of quotations under the guidance of the three universal principles: Action (towards the Good), Knowledge (of the True) and Love (to the Beautiful). The metaphysical and spiritual sayings of this book some short quotes, others longer recall a sonata by J. S. Bach, who once said that his music aimed to elevate the thinking of his listeners, as well as transmit peace to their hearts. To continue with this simile, the three sections in which the collection is divided, more than a symphony, are like the three parts or movements of a cantata by this master, with its changes of tempo and tone. Its various motifs or melodies are intimately intertwined to produce an intellectual and aesthetic pleasure (rasa) of the first order.
