The civic, police and military coup d'état in Bolivia, supported by imperialism hand in hand with the OAS and the most reactionary representatives of the region, such as Jair Bolsonaro, Sebastián Piñera and Donald Trump, has reopened deep wounds and contradictions in Bolivian society that were believed to have been overcome.
Great events in the history of peoples are those that, like an unappealable judge, determine whether the texts, analyses and documents previously produced can pass the test of facts or are simply cornered in the trunk of historical curiosities.

We believe that the text that the reader has in his hands, written fundamentally in 2009 and after 14 years of MAS government, not only has comfortably passed the test of events but that much of what happened was already anticipated in its pages.

We hope that, with the resurgence of the struggle of the exploited and oppressed of Bolivia – a large part of the native nations and peoples – this text will contribute to the struggle and organization against the State, against its ruling classes and against the racial structuring of society.
