He was born in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas in 1976. He studied a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy at the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL). He specialized in Literary Creation, Library Administration, Information Services Design, Quality Systems Management and Cultural Promotion. Professor at the Faculty of Psychology at the Metropolitan University of Monterrey and virtual tutor for the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education. Collaborator of Casa del Tiempo, El Cuento, Revista Levadura and Punto de Partida. Scholarship holder of the National Fund for Culture and the Arts, specializing in poetry, 2012. Winner of the minification contest of the magazine El Cuento, in 1997. Aguascalientes Fine Arts Poetry Prize 2017 for Fables and Stories of Strategists. His work appears in the anthologies Literatura joven universitaria (uanl, 1997 and 1998), Novísimos cuentos de la República Mexicana (conaculta, 2004), Región sin dónde, vol. 2.
