Eusebio Calonge (Jerez de la Frontera, 1963). Playwright of the company La Zaranda for more than three decades —with which he has performed his works in more than thirty countries on four continents—, he has received awards from critics in Buenos Aires, New York, Cairo, Montevideo, Havana , Madrid, Barcelona… He also received the National Theater Award with his company in 2010. He has taught courses, lectured both in Europe and America, and published drama, essays, journalistic articles, and narrative. His work has been translated into French, English, Italian, German, Portuguese and Japanese. In Pepitas he has published Here they lie (dramatis personae).
