Melquiades Herrera (1949-2003) was a versatile and irreverent artist. Pioneer of performance in Mexico and member of the legendary Non-Group (1977-1983). He taught geometry, visual education and design at the Academy of San Carlos Antigua, School of Design inba and the National School of Plastic Arts.
